NEIGHBORHOOD PICNIC

The annual neighborhood picnic was held September 22nd, with about 200 neighbors attending. Hamburgers and hotdogs were served along with many side dishes and desserts.

Also in attendance were Mayor Mike Fahey and Councilman Franklin Thompson, who each took a turn helping at the grill. Both stayed to enjoy a meal and mingle with the neighbors. a DJ and sound system, plus a Moon Walk, provided entertainment for all.

Our thanks to volunteers Jim Nelson, Jack, Lori and Jessica Renshaw, Jody Hampton, Steve and Christine Johnson, Don and Deb Kubik, Ray Migas, Lynn and Rick D'Eridita and Joanne Johnson for helping with the setup and cleanup, buying supplies, cooking, and supervision of the kids in the Moon Walk.

FH/PM HOMEOWNERS BOARD

I sincerely want to thank Steve Johnson (Vice President), Dennis Dahmke (Treasurer), Jim Nelson (Secretary), Don Kubik (Activities Coordinator) and Jack McHale (City Coordinator) for their work this year.

When no one else volunteered to serve as officers of the Homeowners Association last January, these men offered their time to keep the association going for one more year. Many thanks for their physical, mental, and creative efforts this past year!

Andy Hampton, President

FH/PM ANNUAL MEETING

The annual meeting of the Fountain Hills/Pacific Meadows Homeowner's Association will be held on Tuesday, January 15th at 7:00pm at Kiewit Middle School in the Multi Purpose Room. Speaking at our meeting will be Steve Scarpello, Assistant to Mayor Fahey. City officials from other departments may also be available to answer questions.

Since none of the current board members are able to serve a second term, we are looking for some concerned neighbors to volunteer to serve as officers for this coming year. Elections will be held at the January 15th annual meeting. Please consider volunteering or the Homeowner's Association will cease to exist. Why not get serveral of your neighbors and friends to form a board for this coming year! Please call Andy Hampton if you are interested.

We look forward to seeing you at the annual meeting!!
